We are a non-profit organization formed in 2001 whose mission is to educate family caregivers of the necessity and benefit of regular, short breaks from providing 24/7 care for a family member who lives in their home, i.e. respite. We also advocate for increased funding so family caregivers can hire someone to stay with their loved one while the family caregiver takes a break.
