This company is extremely communicative, generous, and kind. All the workers are welcoming and they do everything possible to make students feel comfortable and trained before they begin their jobs. They have programs created to help college students meet other people in the company to ask them questions regarding insurance and the common workplace.
What I wish was different
I wish we could have had an orientation to meet all of the other students in one big event.
Advice
Be yourself. This company loves to bring in people with diverse talents and backgrounds. Being honest about who you are and clear about what you are looking to get from the job will help you in the interview process.

What I liked
I love the flexibility of the schedule. There also great incentives to further your insurance education and great opportunities to meet other college students.
What I wish was different
I miss being in the office now that we are remote, but I am grateful the company strives to guarantee safety for all of its employees.
Advice
Make sure to meet as many people as you can! It is a great company with very intelligent people and excellent opportunities. Take advantage of the events offered.

What I liked
I absolutely love the company culture. Everyone who works here has your best interest at heart and wants you to succeed. I loved that I had the opportunity to receive feedback from my team leader. She was incredibly accessible and always willing to help me. I felt as though I was doing meaningful work on a daily basis. On top of these things, some other perks included free lunch everyday and a fitness facility.
What I wish was different
I honestly would not change anything about my experience at USLI.
Advice
If a company is going to invest in you, give 100% effort to what you do for them when you come into work every day, and do so with a good attitude. These two factors will make for a much more rewarding experience.

What I liked
I really enjoyed the culture, people and benefits at the company. The culture was great and the people made coming in everyday really fun and a fantastic experience. The benefits for interns were amazing as it was high pay, free lunch and a free gym.
What I wish was different
There is not much else I would have asked for in this internship experience.
Advice
Get involved. There are a lot of different opportunities for interns such as taking classes and getting involved with company wide events.
