WebstaurantStore

E-commerce intern

June - August 2020 • Lititz, PA

What I liked

I’ve never seen or heard of another e perforce where interns were given so much autonomy. The trust the company had in us was unmatched. We worked with real customers on difficult issues side by side with our supervisors and our ideas for improving the customer experience were heard!

What I wish was different

The job title was slightly misleading, I assumed there would be more marketing elements to the position. The position was more customer service focused.. answering emails and solving problems. But for someone looking for that kind of role I couldn’t recommend it enough!

Advice

Ask questions. You’ll learn so much that’s out of your comfort zone and it can get overwhelming. The team is so supportive and kind so take them up on their offers to help!

What I liked

The Dayton office is small and I really enjoyed getting to know my coworkers and feeling supported in learning on the job from everyone around me.

E-commerce Intern

June - August 2018 • Lititz, PA

What I liked

I loved my experience working at the WebstaurantStore! I worked as an E-commerce intern within the customer solutions department. I was trained alongside full time new hire Customer solutions reps and learned how to solve problems and communicate with customers via chat and email. I grew a lot in personal and professional development and was able to shadow 7 different positions, 3 different departments of the business. Loved my experience and would definitely recommend!
