I wish that the store had a better organization for assigning work to the employees.

One piece of advice I can share after this experience I had is that when you are dealing with people the best is to be calm and patient no matter what is going on.

What I liked

The management and the team were all accommodating especially when I first started working. The atmosphere is relaxed but also work is done efficiently.

What I wish was different

It is slightly understaffed which means I have to put more of my time into working instead of focusing more on school. It is a manageable work/school balance but it could be better.

Advice

Zara's team at Tyson's is very generous and the manager is caring and understanding. Knowing that I am a student balancing a job he allows me to prioritize school and is flexible with my work schedule.

The other sales associates were really friendly and helpfull. The salary and the hours are really good and flexibles

The managers and the people treat you really bad like you are less than them and I never receive my uniform for the job

Always be friendly and respectful with everyone. Be super organized to do the job as fast as you can and try to keep it clean.

What I liked

Engaging with and helping customers find the clothing articles they were look for. I also really liked the fast paced atmosphere (Zara being a fast fashion retailer), clothes were continuously brought in and inventory changed rapidly. The staff for the most part, were also very social, welcoming, hardworking, and nice to work with. I also loved working with the merchandise, as it inspired me to broaden my personal fashion sense, and to go beyond the limits/boundaries of what is considered "normal".
