I was thrown into this position that usually requires a substantial amount of related work experience. I had no experience but they were impressed enough and needed an employee bad enough that I got hired. I didn't even know I would get paid $17/hour until after I was hired!

The hours were a little crazy 4-12:30 but was worth it

Just show up, the job isn't even that hard. The day consisted of me stocking aisles until open and then folding clothing or helping at register if needed.

I liked the work environment, fast paced and moving, as well as being able to develop my personal skills while helping others.

The hiring process takes a longer time with the new HR System they use so it took about a month off of my work time.
Advice
If you are a hard worker, create connections with co workers, supervisors, and upper management, you will enjoy coming to work. Try your best everyday and since it's a customer relations job, take every interaction as a new and welcoming one.
