i love to work at wegmans because we have a lot of different back ground of people all over the place. i also learn a lot from other co-worker, like team work, help other, and make different for our community.

i don't have anything because wegmans make me feel like home and everyone at work help each other a lot. sometime we might hear that people said they don't feel fit in in their job but in wegmans we feel like everyone is equal and fit in.

Great community. The team and other people in the company were very friendly and patient with helping get up to speed

Transportation was a little complicated at first since the office is not reachable by bus, I would have to walk around a quarter of a mile to get to work.
However, it didn't take long for my manager to get me in touch with someone who could give me a ride

Don't be afraid to take responsibilities, teams tend to be happy to help and to see you improving

Say yes to every opportunity, even if you think you wont enjoy it. I spent a week in Maryland opening a new store, and it was one of the greatest opportunities i've had, even though I had no interest in relocating to Maryland.

What I liked
Wegmans takes time to invest in their employees. Through weekly meetings, I was continually given feedback in areas that I could grow. I was given hands-on opportunities to apply what I have been learning in school. Not only that, but I gained a large amount of product knowledge that will carry me beyond Wegmans.
What I wish was different
Although I enjoyed my time in the store I worked at, it was the highest volume store in the zone and the busiest store in the zone. I think that I missed out on some learning opportunities because of this. At the same time, I had opportunities that other interns did not.
Advice
Take every feedback with a grain of salt and be your own advocate.
